Marvel-ous Laundry

Blog Reader, I'd like you to meet my Laundry Room.

Laundry room, this is my dear friend Blog Reader.

Laundry room was looking really great one day, little patches of the concrete floor could be seen. Boxes of pictures hoping for a scrapbook were nearly visible. I was listening to the washer swish and the dryer tumble thinking, "Wow, 1,2,3,4...umm 7 loads of dark's two, 2 loads of towels,1 load of blankets and the laundry will be done. Except for the clothes on the bathroom floor, and in the bedrooms, and the socks in the backyard... sigh."

Still, knowing Laundry Room at its worst, I was feeling super proud of myself, then I noticed a pair of feet poking out from under the dryer. Ah Ha!

I should have suspected that it would take the help of an actual super hero to get Laundry Room looking this good. I'm not surprised that Bruce Banner got very angry at Laundry Room what with piles of wet sandy shorts and t-shirts, mounds of jeans and sweatshirts because, hello? it snowed two weeks ago. And, I'm sure he popped a button or two when he noticed clean folded clothes, boys didn't put away, cleverly mixed in with sweaty, stinky football girdles and grass stained socks. I'm guessing it was the used once tossed on the floor towels that made my pal Bruce furious enough to transform into the Hulk. Whatever did the trick I was just thrilled that he was there until...

Laundry Room is one tough villain.

No worries, I'm sure somewhere in the piles are a few pairs of X-Men underwear to lend headless Hulk a hand.

The one thing I hate, Laundry Grrrrr!!! I heard that the Ladies in R.S. here were discussing the Um...."Fact" that one day we young mothers would miss doing the laundry. Ummmmm WHAT!!!!! I did not feel the truthfulness of that statement. Maybe it's because I heard it from some one who heard it. I don't know but I suspect it to be a viscious lie.

That makes me want to cry. There are only two of us, and I swear we can never catch up! I can only imagine your situation.

Um, I'm going to admit my nerdiness right here. It's Bruce Banner. Or did I miss some funny joke?

Jenny, oops you're right its Bruce Banner. I guess my issues with the name Bruce come out at 3:00 in the morning, about the time I wrote this post. I'll hurry and change it before I offend another Marvel-ous nerd...uh, expert.

Thanks. And BTW anyone of your nerd-olicious sons would have known that too.

Jenny, in my defense on the TV series, which I faithfully watched as a young teenager,it was David Banner. I had the craziest crush on Bill Bixby the actor who played DAVID Banner. I think he's about 5'2'' and 135lbs, with a super sweet personality, kinda the metro-sexual guy of the 70's. In my defense he did turn into Lou Ferrigno a super hunky body builder. Way cooler then the stupid computer generated Hulk in the new movies.

Look at me with my nerdy Hulk history.

Wow! That is impressive. Now I'm going to have to check out this Bill Bixby guy.

WHY, my friend, did you have to take us there?! I feel like a failure compared to you and your laundry! Why can't I whip my laundry into shape with just 5 of us, when you are facing an entire ROOM of laundry? Where is my super hero?!

Hye, I hear that your oldest is here!!! Tell me that means you are going to be visiting sometime in the next 2 years?! I pray he is having a wonderful time serving the Lord!! I am sure he will return to you a more mature, man of God!
