Friday was supposed to be my blog catch up day...Not!
Friday was supposed to be about relaxation and rest...Not!
Friday was supposed to be about reconnecting with my boys and my Adorable Hubby...Not!
Friday was about the eight thousand little jobs that only a mom does. My hat is off to all you working men and women who come home and care for a family.
Friday was cooking and cleaning and yard work to prepare for Isaac's baptism on Saturday at 11:00.
One of the blessings of our life is our numerous extended family and friends. Our little social butterfly, #5, invited everyone he saw for a month. It was his special day! Lots!!!! of people came to support him, 50+ . We ate cold turkey, rolls, salads and chips, Scotch-a-Roos and pumpkin cookies, sugar cookies, and watermelon, fresh homemade salsa, and veggies. Yum!
Congratulations Isaac!
And now I'm going to read some of your blogs.

Congrats #5...what a great time that was with all your family & friends to witness such a special occasion !
Congraulations #5. I think I might have a social butterfly just like you... He's already inviting people to his birthday party... His birthday is October 26! Wanna come? There's time to save for a ticket (or 9) and I'm sure if he knew about blogging he'd invite your whole family!
Congrats #5!! Sounds like a great day!!
Hopefully you get a chance to relax soon!! That's coming from one tire mama to another tired mama!! LOL :o)

Congrats to #5. Now you know why my house is a mess for most of the year. When I'm working, I usually have to choose between cleaning the house and spending time with my kids & husband, and I never choose the house unless it's an emergency situation. Now that we're home for the summer, hopefully I'll get some stuff cleaned.
You know what they say, "if you want to hear God laugh... tell Him your plans" :) Congratulations to your son on his baptism!
Blessings,
Carolynn
