Inspired by You, Wednesday

Feeling cruddy today, hope it's not Swine Flu!

It's, for sure, a great reason to stay in a bathrobe till, uh hem, 5:oo pm.

My interview went well yesterday, it was comfortable and relaxed, as interviews go. Right after the interview They called my friend Suz, who works at the hospital where I interviewed and asked her lots of questions about me, "They asked me if you would be on time and functional" I thought I heard her say, she was on a cell phone at a soccer game.

"What did you tell them?" I asked, we both know saying we're getting somewhere by two o'clock really means three o'clock.

"I told them you would be on time."

"So, on time, but... not necessarily functional?" Dang, I should have listed a reference who doesn't know me so well.

"PUNCTUAL, not FUNCTIONAL!" She laughed at me.

Today my inspiration is my friend Suz! We share a name, 11 sons, one little girl and 16 years of ups and downs, good times and bad. She called a few weeks ago to tell me about this job, she's always looking out for me, heck she even has faith that if she can be on time to work, so can I. It's good to have such a great friend. Love Ya Suz! Fingers crossed that we'll be swapping work stories soon.

I'm off to another baseball game! Happy Wednesday!

I guess it would be OK if you get a job but it better not stop you from blogging. I'm just not sure your adorable hubby will tell the cute child quips that you do. ;) Hope all goes well!!

I know what you mean about the swine flu. I have had it for about 5 years. I can't wait to get over it so I won't look so swine-like! I know what you mean about being functional. Why can't being there physically be enough?! I don't get it!

My boys thought that was the best photo ever! Dragon wouldn't let me keep reading until he had finished taking in every single nose hair:)

Yay for suz. Yay for suz having a girl! Do you borrow/kidnap her girl sometimes and just pretend?

You had me laughing at your Swine Flu reference!!! That is the joke in our house right now. "Is it the Swine Flu???!!!" Great photo!!!

I am with the Adams family...you better keep blogging. I don't want my favorite bloggy friend to put her career over blogging...I am selfish like that!

Love Suz! What a special friendship you both have. I somehow feel like a special, far away third wheel in your relationship and, frankly, I love it!

Maybe someday all three of us will get to meet...oh, wait, Nurse Boy wants to meet all of you. too. We'll see about that...

UH, I am honored that you'd be inspired by me, but to clump it in with the " swine flu". Am I really that sloppy? JK Thanks. I love ya

Just like to add: The name Suzanne, Susan, Sue ( not suweeee), etc... mean lily, white, purity. You inspire me, and you exemplify your name.
