Inspired By You Wednesdays

As all, like... 9, of my faithful readers know, last week I was trying to be inspired by Heffalumps, Sugar Free for Two Weeks post(I Write About Nothing on my side bar) . Due to Monthly Munchies Syndrome, I was unable to find that inspiration last week; but, this is a new week.

Then while reading Barbaloots (see side bar) post, Campaign for Obesity, she mentioned that she and a friend observe Lent by swearing of Junk Food for 45 days. Being the, sensitive to others religious views, type that I am, I boldly invited myself to join their junkless observance, and Barbaloot graciously made the invitation formal; like she had a choice, kinda like knowing in the first 30 seconds of the blind date that it's just not gonna work out for you and fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror man, but... you still have to be nice.

So, thanks Barbaloot for the nice invitation and the inspiration. I had my own little Carnaval yesterday at the Blue and Gold Banquet, one little piece of cake from 10 different cakes made by, proud to share 8 - 10 year old boys, adds up to a cake gobbling feast, no beads were involved. I began my penance at midnight last night, I'll think lovingly of better health, a few less pounds and a Reece's Easter Bunny in 45 days.

By the way both of these women have fantastic blogs, be sure to check them out.

You remember how we had so much in common? How we were long, lost friends who should be living in the same neighborhood, on the same street? How much fun our kids were going to have together?

Well, you went and ruined it all! Giving up junk food?! I mean, how could one of my friends go crazy like that? I'll be praying for you that you come to your senses...

No, really, that is great.

I won't tell you what I am eating right now. ;0)

Mrs. Nurse Boy, Sob, don't abandon me I promise you're my long lost friend, you know my infatuations are short lived, plus in a way I'm doing this for religious principal, not mine of course but a religion nonetheless.

It's okay Mrs Nurse Boy, you can move near me. I'll eat junk food with you, after all it's a recession, we can call it our "junk food industry bail out scheme" and it'll be guilt free.

And you too can get to Easter before Boy Mom does... oops, there I go again. {insert evil laugh here}

You have the funniest group of followers, Susan? How did you find all these women? (no offense women)? I mean, how did you find all these incredibly funny, sexy, fabulous, skinny women? They leave the best comments. My blog is private so I don't have fun stalkers who turn into friends anymore. Sigh.

I meant to say you have funny followers - period - not ?. It's 2:48 a.m., I'm up with Eiley, needless to say I'm tired.

That's hard! I don't knowk if I could do no sugar. I think I'm addicted. I guess this means it would be a good practice in sacrifice...STOP making me feel guilty!

Kidding of course.

You'll do great! Hang in there.

And thank you for your kind comments on the EO. You lift me up!
